Welcome to Citizens Reach Out, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of war victims around the world.
Through citizen diplomacy, educational outreach, and partnerships with like-minded organizations, we are committed to focusing attention on those harmed by armed conflicts and to bringing people together to ensure that violence is no longer the way nations and peoples solve their differences.
We are proud to announce several upcoming events and initiatives, including:
- Our regular Speaker Series.
- The commencement of the “What Happened?” Project, an oral history project and theater piece to be produced in collaboration with acclaimed actor and author Peter Coyote. The piece will be based on the testimony and oral histories of Iraqi refugees collected by members of Citizens Reach Out.
- A collaboration with the Alalusi Foundation’s Iraq Orphans Project to bring attention to and assist Iraq’s millions of orphans.
